Hi, I’m Anika!
I’m a registered midwife, tongue-tie practitioner, and on my way to becoming a lactation consultant (IBCLC) in 2025.
I qualified from the University of Brighton in 2020 with a BSc (hons) Midwifery.
I have worked as a private midwife for the past 2.5 years supporting clients to have their care at home, including many homebirths.
Prior to that I worked in the NHS, primarily in an alongside birth centre and the community.
I want to support you on your feeding journey. I value giving you a holistic feeding assessment
so you’ll know if a tongue tie division is right for your baby or if other lactation support or services are needed.
I offer help and support to all parents regardless of feeding method including those
who are breastfeeding, combination feeding, exclusively pumping or fully formula feeding
and regardless of whether they identify as ‘breastfeeding’, ‘chest feeding’ or ‘bottle feeding.’
I’m also passionate about continuity of care and building relationships with families.
I offer packages of lactation support to help you on your journey after a tongue tie division or as a standalone service!
I promise to always give you up-to-date evidence and information to help you make informed decisions and
remain in control of your experience and health for both you and your baby.
My goal is to help you enjoy your feeding experience as well as your journey into motherhood!

“I was able to get an appt for a tongue tie assessment really quickly and easily. Anika came to our house which helped massively with a newborn so we didn’t have to travel. Anika was really caring in her approach, really thorough with her questions before performing the assessment, and explained everything in detail. My son did have a tongue tie so she performed the division there and then and took me through all of the exercises we’d need to do post-division and things to look out for. It went really well and my son is now feeding so much better and his symptoms have improved massively! Thank you!!”
